FAQ

  • Is teletherapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Research suggests that there is little to no difference between teletherapy and in-person therapy in terms of effectiveness. Teletherapy has multiple benefits including but not limited to: convenience, reduction of travel costs, and increased accessibility of care . However, teletherapy may not be an appropriate type of service for every individual. It is important that you review the risks of participating in teletherapy before you begin and discuss this with your prospective psychotherapist.

  • Do you offer sliding scale?

Yes—in a limited capacity. Please book a free 15-minute consultation HERE and we can discuss !

  • Do you provide services for minors?

We do not provide services to minors. We provide individual psychotherapy to adult women, 18 years and older. We would be happy to offer referrals to child and family psychotherapists if requested.
