CREATE A SAFE SPACE THROUGH 1:1 COUNSELING SESSIONS
Individual sessions provide a safe place for you to express yourself authentically and be truly understood. I believe healing requires addressing your psychological, physical, and spiritual needs.
ENCOURAGE HEALTHY MIND-BODY-WORLD CONNECTIONS
My approach promotes mindfulness-based practices that can lead to healthy relationships with ourselves, others, and the world around us. When we are more self-aware and connected to ourselves, we are able to make the wisest decisions for a fulfilling life.
EMPOWER ALL TO ADOPT HEALTHY MINDFULNESS AND PRESENCE HABITS
I believe you have the power to impact collective mindfulness, cultivated by mutually beneficial positive human connection and healthy relationships. When you become more present with yourself and others—they become more present too.

Owner/Psychotherapist
Welcome! I'm Morgan, founder and owner of Wildwood Counseling. As a holistic psychotherapist, I deeply believe that true healing emerges when we honor the intricate connection between mind, body, and soul. Through my years of practice, I've witnessed how developing stronger connections with ourselves, others, and our environment allows our inner wisdom to flourish and guide us toward authentic healing.
My therapeutic approach centers on recognizing you as the ultimate expert of your own experience. My role is to walk alongside you on your healing journey, drawing from diverse therapeutic methods thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs. Since beginning my career as a therapist in 2015, I've had the privilege of working across a wide spectrum of mental health settings. From inpatient rehabilitation and psychiatric care to emergency departments, schools, detention centers, and outpatient clinics, I've provided individual therapy, group sessions, crisis counseling, and comprehensive assessments. This diverse experience has given me a deep understanding of the many ways difficulties and healing can manifest.
I feel particularly called to support women who are working through anxiety and trauma, helping them reclaim their sense of safety and empowerment. Additionally, I find great fulfillment in providing therapy to the next generation of therapists, supporting associates and interns as they grow both personally and professionally.
When I'm not in the office, you'll likely find me spending quality time with my husband, our rescue pup Huey Lewis, or volunteering at the animal shelter. I find joy and renewal in tending to my plant babies, losing myself in a good book (high fantasy is my jam), and practicing yoga and meditation. These personal practices help me maintain the balance and presence I strive to bring to my therapeutic work.

My Approach and Process
A Holistic Approach
I recognize you as a complete individual—embracing your mind, body, and spirit—rather than reducing you to a diagnosis or set of symptoms. This holistic approach opens pathways for deeper personal growth and supports you in creating a richer, more fulfilling life.
a safe space
I am dedicated to providing a private, non-judgmental, compassionate, and collaborative environment where you can feel safe in exploring both the challenging and joyful parts of life and make long-lasting changes.
Everyday Mindfulness
Mindfulness forms the heart of my therapeutic approach. By cultivating present-moment awareness—breath by breath, moment by moment—we discover deeper ways of being with our experiences. Drawing from my own daily meditation practice of several years, I've witnessed firsthand how these practices can transform our inner landscape and enhance our wellbeing.
